About CodeAugs
A Ghanaian academy building the next generation of makers
CodeAugs started in a single borrowed classroom in Adenta with nine students and four laptops. Today we teach more than three hundred learners a term, on campus and online.
Our story
From a borrowed classroom to a full academy
In 2019 our founder ran a free Saturday coding club for children in his neighbourhood. Parents kept asking the same question: can you keep going next term? That question became CodeAugs.
We are deliberately small per class and deliberately practical. We would rather a student finish one working project they understand than sit through twenty lessons they cannot explain. Everything in our curriculum has to survive one test: can the learner show it to someone and describe how it works?
Today CodeAugs runs weekday evening classes, a Saturday Builders Lab, in-school enrichment for fourteen partner schools, and a live online classroom for Ghanaian families abroad.
Vision
A generation of West African students who build the software and hardware their own communities need, rather than only consuming what is imported.

Honest feedback. If a course is not the right fit for your child, we will tell you and move them - or refund the term.

Every instructor is interviewed, teaches a live demo lesson, and completes child-safeguarding training before their first class.
Augustine Martey
Executive Managing Director & Founder
Founded CodeAugs in 2019 after a decade building software and training junior developers in Accra. Sets the curriculum standard and still teaches the Prodigy capstone.
Ebenezer Quarm
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Leads operations, school partnerships and instructor development. Background in education management and enterprise systems.

Lead Instructor · Robotics & Python
Electronics engineer who runs the robotics bay and the Builder-track Python cohorts. Coaches our national STEM competition team.

Software Developer & Web Track Mentor
Full-stack developer. Maintains the CodeAugs learning platform and mentors the web development and game tracks.

Admissions & Student Care
First voice families hear. Handles placement chats, timetables, fees and the fortnightly parent updates.
